Our client is one of the dynamic and growing global logistics companies with its presence around the globe.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager – Pharma & Healthcare will be responsible to develop, manage, and expand the company’s pharma and healthcare vertical business in the country collaborating with other regions and countries.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop accessible commercial programs for the company’s organization’s growth.
  • Manage financial planning and budget implementation.
  • Provide leadership for development and implementation of programs and tools.
  • Manage pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
  • Implement strategies to enhance vertical brand recognition and differentiate the company in the marketplace.
  • Develop customer education forums and focus groups to boost credibility and reputation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to develop targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Define vertical value proposition and positioning strategy.
  • Implement strategies with products and drive customer retention and increase shares of wallets.
  • Collaborate with Country Sales Heads, Account Management and Country Products to develop and execute annuals plans, GP, and other commercial targets.
  • Oversee implemented tools and programs to support Verticals, Account Management, Transition & Implementation and RFQ Management.
  • Provide strategic direction to optimize sales revenue and GP through customer-facing resources.
  • Monitor customer activity and nurture relationships for additional projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize account acquisition, onboarding and business maintenance.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding / Transportations with focus on Sales of Vertical Pharma & Healthcare.
  • Experience in different disciplines in commercial and operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory directives and guidelines – GDP / GMP / ISO9001.
  • Strong knowledge of business models, objectives, financial metrics, etc.
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, management and planning skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
