Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Lead will be leading a team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a crucial role in attracting, acquiring and engaging the top talent for the company. This multifaceted position requires a blend of talent acquisition expertise, the ability to craft and promote a compelling Employee Value Proposition, and effective internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring manager to understand the staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media and professional networks, to attract a diverse pool of high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Be the mentor or domain expert to Talent Acquisition team members, ensuring business objectives are achieved.
- Improve Talent Acquisition operations by defining and monitoring metrics to ensure recruiting efficiency.
- Employee Value Proposition (EVP):
- Develop and articulate a compelling EVP that reflects the organization’s culture, values, and unique selling points to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the employee experience and incorporate feedback into the EVP strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Certification in Human Resources or related field is a plus.
- At least 7-8 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, with a track record of successful hires.
- Experience in employer branding and online reputation management is preferred.
- Knowledge of current trends in talent acquisition, EVP, and internal communications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Employee Value Proposition development and implementation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- People-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, meticulous, independent and adaptable to change.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Abreast knowledge of current employment legislation and HR practices in Singapore and Malaysia.
