The Company:

Our client of the global prime producers of machines and systems for creating and processing rubber and plastics. The company delivers injection moulding machinery, reaction process machinery and additive manufacturing to the automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and medical devices manufacturers.

As the Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of new machine sales in Thailand, leading the growth of the company’s IMM and RPM portfolio. This strategic role focuses on expanding business with existing clients, acquiring new customers, and positioning the company as the market leader.

The Sales Manager – New Machines will be responsible to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans including target markets, pricing strategies, and sales tactics.
  • Align regional strategies with the company’s objectives to drive sustainable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address customer concerns, ensure satisfaction, and maximize market coverage.
  • Drive new machine sales and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the teams in China and Germany to leverage insights.
  • Manage sales budgets and resources effectively to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and the company code of ethics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, promoting brand visibility and growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Masters preferred.
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in sales within the injection moulding machine industry, with proven track record in building and growing regional sales/service teams.
  • Strong understanding of injection moulding machines and plastic industry applications.
  • Sales-driven and client-focused, with ability to gain market share.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative and customer oriented, willing to pioneer new approaches.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to enhance collaboration within regional and global team.
  • Fluent in English; local language essential and Mandarin.
