The Company:
Our client of the global prime producers of machines and systems for creating and processing rubber and plastics. The company delivers injection molding machinery, reaction process machinery and additive manufacturing to the automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and medical devices manufacturers.
Reporting to the Regional VP, the Sales Manager for New Machines will take the full responsibility for New Machines sales for the assigned region. With exemplary leadership and strategic skills, the Sales Manager will grow the business of New Machine Portfolio of the company with existing clients and new customers. In the long term, establishing the organization as the market leader with benchmark services and products.
The Role:
- Developing and implementing business strategies in accordance with company strategy.
- Provide market insights and establish a strong collaboration culture with company branches in China and Germany
- Ensuring maximum market coverage and customer satisfaction while developing New Machines sales.
- Ensure fulfilment of corporate policies and legal guidelines within the assigned subsidiary
- Representing the brand and enhancing awareness within the local market to ensure future growth
- Ensure business management with company strategy and ensure internal control, compliance with law, company guidelines and code of ethics.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and secure the long-term success of company’s brand within the assigned market
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience as Senior Sales Role in a relevant industry
- Several years’ experience and solid track in developing and implementing strategic and business plans for Injection Molding in Plastics Industry
- Strong understanding of Injection molding Machines and application in Plastic Industry and relevant markets in given countries
- Fluency in English. Local languages are an added advantage
- Experienced in working with different nationalities and cultures in Southeast Asia
- Sales orientated and keen on acquiring new clients and gaining market share
- Strategic thinking strategic to analyze the market profoundly to identify opportunities and risks
- Open leadership style, excellent motivational and organizational skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
