RPM Service Engineer

The Company:

Our client of the global prime producers of machines and systems for creating and processing rubber and plastics. The company delivers injection molding machinery, reaction process machinery and additive manufacturing to the automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and medical devices manufacturers.

Reporting to SEA Service Manager and RPM KMCN, the RPM Service Engineer will coordinate and participate in the equipment’s installation and commissioning on site, daily maintenance and repair of equipment during the warranty period and solve the equipment’s problems on-site, to achieve customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the installation and commissioning of equipment on-site.
• Reporting the equipment operation issues and work on solutions.
• Maintain the relationship and communication with the factory customer, improving service capabilities base on customers’ needs.
• Provide technical support to sales team.
• Responsible for the equipment operation and daily maintenance to customers.
• Responsible for daily maintenance and repair of equipment during the warranty period, as well as monitoring of equipment operating status.
• Complete the regular reports on the operating status of on-site customer.
• Support customer on managing the inventory of equipment-related spare parts.
• Promoting the service and spare parts needs of on-site customer
• Support on Injection Molding Machinery after-sales team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Associate degree or above in Electrical Automation(preferred),Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics,, or Polymer Science.
• 3 – 6 years of experience in After-Sales Service; experience in sales and market development is an advantage.
• Understanding of Mechanical Design and Manufacturing.
• Understanding of Hydraulic Principles and Hydraulic Components.
• Familiar with Electrical Control and PLC Programming.
• Strong market sensitivity, able to identify emerging opportunities and market changes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good reporting and writing skills on English; Chinese language competency is a bonus point.
