The Company:

Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Pricing Agent Global Quoting Desk is responsible for coordinating spot requests within network, managing price quotations related to air, ocean, and road transport for specific global customers, while being the main point of communication contact with customers.

The Pricing Agent, Global Quoting Desk will be responsible for:

  • Managing deadlines set by our customers and according to customer-specific operational procedures.
  • Ensuring that quote requests are updated in our internal systems and distributed timely
  • Making decisions when and where appropriate in alignment with internal processes and procedures, to achieve the team’s goal of increasing the rate of success, net revenue and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Always ensure compliance is always met in the daily work including internal policies and procedures and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.
  • Ensures to always follow the standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Working with the team to achieve KPI standards as per company procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining a good relationship with partner branches within the network to coordinate and increase the win ratio.
  • Keeping daily track of ad-hoc quote requests from customers using the internal tools, with the aim of improving our performance with the customer and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Tracking internal and external weekly/monthly reports to manage performance, increase net revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Constantly look for opportunities of improvement based on experience and operational reports.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in air, ocean and/or road operations or quoting
  • Understanding the transport documentation processes.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Incoterms.
  • Proficient in English at high intermediate level. Local languages are a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office and System applications
  • Willingness to work in a team, ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively to achieve positive results.
  • Proactive and strong organizational skills.
  • Being able to work independently by following the processes and instructions, with remote supervision.
