Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for declaration Import (K1), Export (K2, K3), K8 & K9.
• Verifying invoices, packing list, BL, NOA for declaration purposes.
• Ensure BL, NOA data are tally with port system.
• Ensure that all the shipping details are verified on a timely basis
• Monitor all documents are received in order and before ETA/Closing date.
• Ensure tax exemptions are in good order.
• Ensure K1/K2/K9 data generated is tally with shipping documents.
• Monitor clearance status – ensure papers are cleared within 24 hours to avoid Shut-Out.
• Ensure duty is only paid to Customs upon confirmation from customer service.
• Prepare gate pass for container delivery purposes.
• Responsible for declaration K4 (Manifest).
• Ensure system Aldec (declaration system) to run smoothly.
• Assist and support dispatch and outdoor operation job if needed.
• Print and clarify Westport & Northport monthly invoices for billing purposes.
• Assist on cross-border shipments (CBT).
• Any other duties assigned by the superior.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Good knowledge in airfreight, seafreight and customs brokerage product knowledge.
• Good knowledge in customs declarations and documentation.
• Detailed oriented and good in time management.
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
