Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and analyzing market trends.
- Developing strategies to adapt existing services for a diverse marketplace.
- Manage and increase existing business accounts.
- Achieve annual sales and revenue growth targets.
- Generate sales reports, identify new leads and pursue prospects.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Operations Department to resolve shipment related matters.
- Follow up with customers to ensure any outstanding payment is made in accordance with company payment terms.
- Ad-hoc tasks assign by the direct reporting line.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in sales within any industry, typically handling Japanese customers.
- Exposure in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain industry would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Japanese and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
