The Company

Our client is a shipping line connecting container trades in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, China, India, and Africa.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Executive must be an excellent team player as well as being supportive, responsive with among other team members in attending matters related to sales, marketing, and any customer relations functions. This involves being aware of the market situation while being fully equipped with product knowledge, competitors’ activities, sales, and marketing administration functions such as pricing negotiations to secure business deals.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for:

  • Trade Performance being assigned in terms of delivering volume and revenue budget/target set by the Management.
  • Committed and focused to build and constantly manage daily sales routine with the goal to achieve and exceed the Individual and Departmental KPIs.
  • Identify, Develop, Target and Canvassing new customers through effective daily Sales Call and Tele Marketing to grow customers base while conserving existing business by sustaining current support.
  • Establishing sales call plan with an advanced pre-plan to maximize effective results.
  • Create and maintain client’s database on current developments through pre and post sales visit reports.
  • Liaise with Trade Management on pricing negotiation along with constant market update, market studies and competitors’ activities to principal.
  • Liaise with Capacity Management team to ensure up to date figures and proper booking projection being provided to ensure full cargo utilization.
  • Obtain and target valuable sales lead with key information to share with respective POL/POD to secure business.
  • Promotion of company’s E-commerce segment to customers

The Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration/Logistics or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English and Malay. Proficiency in Mandarin is also encouraged.
  • Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office and System applications.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
