The Business Development Manager – Project Logistics will be responsible to:
- To qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Capital Projects (Refinery Projects/Power Projects/Renewable Energy Projects) in Malaysia.
- Identify Local and International EPCs operating in Malaysia and create relationships and empanelment of the company with these companies for current and future project.
- Identify and create relationship with local fabricators who are manufacturing heavy and ODC equipment for the projects
- To monitor the strategy agreed with Project Logistics cluster head and ensure application.
- To attend customer events, exhibitions and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our industry solutions
- Owning and supporting RFI’s and RFQ’s and ensure the bids are completed
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in developing Project Logistics business.
- A proven record of developing Project Logistics business in country and/or region.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and of the local project logistics market. General freight forwarding experience is an added advantage.
- Skillset to talk the Project Logistics language with customers and turning customer requirements into business opportunities.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas business is an added advantage.
- Can both work in teams and lead them.
- Strong relationship with local Heavy lift vendors (onshore and offshore).
