About this role:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the market. You will work closely and build relationships with decision-makers across freight, trading, import/export, and distribution to provide solutions that help strengthen and improve risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within importers, exporters, traders, manufacturers, e-commerce sellers and freight forwarders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Advise and guide clients on cargo risk exposure and insurance solutions.
- Work closely with internal team to structure suitable coverage solutions.
- Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Turn insurance from an afterthought into a business advantage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in logistics / freight forwarding / shipping, or insurance.
- Strong industry connections within logistics or insurance are an added advantage.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Entrepreneurial and hunter mindset.
- Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working in a lean and fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Mandarin.
