We are partnering with an international boarding school and a renowned educational institution that provides a well-rounded education.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Manager and will be responsible to maintain, report, and manage finances of the school.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible to:
- Assists in preparing financial statements and reports, including monthly and annual accounts and bank statement reconciliation.
- Process invoices, record payments and track expenses.
- Ensure the record of financial transactions are accurate.
- Update and maintain general ledger.
- Liaise with suppliers and resolve any relevant inquiries.
- Assist in processing student fees and tuition payments, which includes setting up payment plans and handle any inquiries.
- Review and process reimbursements.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the superior.
The requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the similar role.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly in Excel and Accounting Software.
- Independent and able to work with a team.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin language.
- The Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) will be provided as an employee benefit.
