Reporting to Customer Retention and Development Manager, The Account Manager will develop, maintain, lead, and measure the company’s product and service deliverables. The Account Manager will be based in Penang.

The Role:

  • Seek improvement in procedures and services to be more efficient and cost effect operations.
  • Search and implement cost savings within the company (whether through efficiencies or hard cost savings).
  • Design and manage CRM process with account input. Participate and maintain in scheduled QBR’s locally.
  • Include Branch Managers or Key Department Managers in the QBR process
  • Assist communications amongst all key contacts and all related company contacts.
  • Facilitate cooperation and encouraging working relationship with vendors
  • Mentor or facilitate inhouse(s) to five successes as per customers’ requirements
  • To communicate technology updates and tools proactively
  • To keep rates fresh and manage yields monthly and coordinate FRQ’s and rate requests
  • Provide clear instructions om operational requirements om DLSOP for product operation teams’ knowledge
  • Ensure all assigned account are aware of account key contacts servicing their accounts’ (contact window)
  • Establish and direct all reports required to evaluate company’s performance and target performance metrics with the account.
  • Assure that a functioning and agreed upon invoicing – payment process and DLSOP included.
  • Help in resolution of branch claims and disputes.
  • Identify opportunities and keep team sell updated accordingly
  • Update key customer contacts with industry information that will directly affect them.
  • Maintain lines of communication with all key contacts – local, regional or international – as needed within account’s organization
  • Ensure advanced notice of service irregularities.

The Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Business.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field
  • Skilled to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.
  • Computer literate including word processing, presentation and spread sheet programs
  • Exhibited customer service skills, project management skills, problem-solving skills and proven interpersonal skills
