Founder & Director’s Biography
Jenifer Choo
Jenifer Choo is the Founder and Director of People Pathfinders. Jenifer graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in International Supply Chain Management. She started her career in the logistics industry, worked for global freight forwarder, Circle International as Customer Service Executive in 1998. She pursued her logistics passion and career in Singapore and has held various capacities in pricing, account management, global sales and regional trade management in multinational logistics companies. She worked for top 5 global shipping company, Hapag Lloyd in 2006 as Regional Assistant Trade Manager overseeing Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea and Africa markets.
In 2010, Jenifer began her second career in recruitment with Faststream Recruitment, she spearheaded a logistics arm for Asia and later, Jenifer was appointed Head of Logistics & Supply Chain with Direct Search Asia in 2016. She specializes recruitment across logistics, shipping and hitech industries. In pursuing her human resource passion, Jenifer pursued and completed her Masters in Human Resource Management with Open University Malaysia in 2022.
Jenifer is a member of Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), a member of National Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Malaysia (NAWEM) and a member of Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
Jenifer occupies her free time being involved in 3rd generation family traditional coffee shop business and various NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisation). She believes in improving the lives of others through their talent and skills, seeing and bringing the best of others, helping others to realize their dream and passion. Apart from work, Jenifer enjoys travelling, café hopping and loves reading.

Vickie Gilstrap Au is a seasoned Talent Acquisition Consultant with over two decades of experience in the recruitment and human capital industry. Throughout her career, she has established a reputation for excellence in sourcing, engaging, and securing top-tier talent across a wide range of sectors, including technology, engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, and professional services.
Vickie’s strength lies in her ability to deeply understand the business needs of her clients and align those with the right talent solutions. Her strategic, hands-on approach to recruitment ensures that every placement is not only a fit-on paper but also aligns with the company’s long-term goals and culture. She has successfully placed hundreds of professionals—from entry-level talent to senior executives—helping organizations build high-performing teams that drive innovation, efficiency, and growth.
She has held pivotal roles throughout her career, including Senior Corporate HR Consultant for Talent Acquisition at Baylor Scott & White Health—the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas—where she played a strategic role in driving recruitment initiatives. At Cynosure, she served as the Lead Global International Talent Acquisition Consultant, overseeing hiring across APAC, China, EMEA, MENA, and LATAM. Her earlier roles include HR Manager at Preferred Care Partners Management Group and Head of Human Resources/Talent Acquisition at Aubina, where she led end-to-end HR and talent strategies.
Having worked with a diverse clientele ranging from fast-growing startups to Fortune 500 companies, Vickie is known for her consultative style and her commitment to delivering results with integrity, precision, and care. She leverages industry insights, cutting-edge sourcing techniques, and an extensive network to stay ahead of talent market trends and provide clients with a competitive hiring advantage.
Currently with People Pathfinders, Vickie continues to support organizations across Southeast Asia and beyond with full-cycle recruitment, executive search, talent strategy, and HR advisory.
